Mathematics is important for human life, including early childhood development. Introducing mathematical concepts from an age provides many opportunities success in However, introducing mathematics not just a child who can count and recognize various geometric shapes follow certain patterns. The purpose of this study to explore the ability thinking patterns children aged 4–6 years cognitive development stimulating high-level method used research descriptive quantitative qualitative approaches. results showed that are less stimulated think higher level stimulate rationally solve their own problems. learning still formal setting predominantly using children's worksheets, so interest reduced. recommend involves more raises stimulation develop through reasoning problem solving.
